Since the dawn of advertising, the business world has relentlessly pursued ways of reaching potential customers with just the right message. When television first came to market, advertising legend David M. Ogilvy hailed it as the opportunity to put a Salesman in every living room.
Today, with the proliferation of the Internet, those with the right capabilities have the opportunity to empower that same Salesman with a deep knowledge of the customers. Short of being inside that customer's mind, this is the Holy Grail of advertising opportunities.
